Of books and more..

My friend had recently posted on interests we've from childhood. When I started thinking about it I reminisced that as a child I used to tell people " I want to become a librarian". I always fascinated the work of my school librarian and used to feel "Wow!How lucky! She is always with books!!!" . I even had it as an option for my bachelors during high school. It was because I am a voracious reader from childhood ( Thanks to my mom). I used to read anything that had the alphabets,so much so, I have also had arguments with my librarian to give me more books (since only one book was allowed per week). Till today my interest continues. Though I do not know to what it would culminate, I would say it is one of the best relationships in life.
"Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. " ~Charles W. Eliot
So true the above quote is. I still remember reading  the young world, diving into magic world of Roald Dahl , imagining myself living at Malory Towers or St.Clares of Enid Blyton or becoming a detective with Nancy drew in my middle school.Though we have loads of options to read now, the process of  living a life with Charlie or The Famous Five has no price!  But obviously as years go by tastes change and interests may change too. Now I delve into the profound thoughts of Ayn Rand or romanticize with Nora Roberts or Sidney Sheldon. But the passion for reading never reduces or makes you feel bored. Come what may, you can soothe yourself with books! Adios Amigos!

Hey hey!!

I'm quiet amazed that we have a lot in common. Including the habit of reading books. Its a very good hobby, where you can experience certain scenarios which you cannot possibly happen to you practically.
